Outbuilding Roofs

Typically outbuildings have a felt roof membrane. Felt roof membranes deteriorate faster than the treated timber used in their construction. It is worth upgrading any roof with EPDM rubber due to its lasting properties that will keep your outbuilding in better condition for longer whatever the location or weather.

Outbuildings which are detached from the main property do not normally need to comply with building regulations.

The Skyguard cover membrane has not been subjected to the rigorous testing required by building regulations, however, it is the same thickness and similar specification to the one-piece EPDM making this the most cost-effective solution for any roof not requiring building control approval.
