Water Cut-Off Mastic is a super-tacky, butyl-based sealant designed specifically for EPDM roofing terminations where the membrane is mechanically compressed into place. Rather than acting as a filler, it forms a watertight seal once pressure is applied, making it ideal for termination bars, pipe boots, and areas where EPDM meets existing materials such as felt roofs or parapet walls.
Self-Sealing Protection Around Fixings
As a compression-type mastic, it self-seals around screws and fixings that penetrate the EPDM membrane, helping to prevent water ingress at these vulnerable points. When applied using a standard mastic gun, the material remains highly tacky, ensuring a dependable seal once compressed, even in demanding roofing conditions.
