RESITRIX® self-adhesive, seam-weldable fully reinforced EPDM waterproofing membrane.

This system was developed in the 1970’s by Continental Rubber co. over 40 million square metres of this 2.5mm rubber membrane have been installed worldwide on roofs in applications that range from walkways, gutters and valleys through to train carriage roofs and boat decks showing the versatility of the system in any application.

The RESITRIX® SKW membrane offers all the advantages of EPDM, combined with the benefits of a cold-applied self-adhesive waterproofing membrane. We sell this membrane in four widths 333mm, 500mm, 666mm & 1000mm. The roll lengths are 10 metres in length.

RESITRIX® can withstand foot traffic and has a non slip surface. This roofing system is also ideal for overlaying existing roof coverings which in some cases will save the cost of removing and disposing of the old roof surface.

What is the Life Expectancy of EPDM Rubber Roofs?

EPDM Rubber roofs have a 50 year life expectancy.

EPDM has been in commercial use since the 1960s. And many of those roofs are still around today.

How long does it take to install Resitrix?

It took our friends over at RoofScout roughly 3 hours to install Resitrix on a garden room. Installation can depend on many factors such as how experienced the installer is, how big the roof is, how much detail work there is (skylights ect) and the weather conditions.
