How do I measure and choose the correct size Mardome Trade dome

When ordering a dome for a pre-existing upstand, it is important to measure the external dimension from the outside edge of the upstand. For example, an outside upstand measuring 600 x 600 will require a dome with a minimum size of 600 x 600.
